——The 2nd anniversary of the consecration of the whole monastery and Mid-autumn tea party
The clouds have just dispersed and lean on long star. At 7:30 on the evening of October 4th, 2017, the Mahavira Hall square in Boshan Zhengjue Monastery was ablaze with light. Eighty-eight tea seats were scattered all over like stars in the sky or men on a chessboard. The long and distant bell struck three times, then the Chan tea music rose, the tea fairies quietly served a cup of tea for their guests. A flood of translucent moonlight and rain-mist, the 2nd anniversary of the consecration of the whole monastery and Mid-autumn tea party were kicked off in good luck and peace.
The 15th day of the eighth month, it is not only the date of the traditional festival of the Chinese nation but also the birthday of Candraprabha, Ding You Year Mid-autumn festival also coincided with the 2nd anniversary of the consecration of the monastery, the affinities are very special. The tea party tonight, all the good karma came together. We toasted to invite the moon, celebrated the Mid-autumn Festival, used tea for offerings, and cooperated with this great project.
The big screen on the background of the stage was playing 《Celebration review of the consecration of Boshan Zhengjue Monastery》video, the audience was watching the scenes of the screen, and reviewed together. The sonorous and forceful song of the 《Pagoda of praise》 rang, the Mid-autumn festival party began.
Washing the teacups and washing my mind, removing dust in both places. Patriarch Huineng inspired other by telling the truth that it is the mind that is fluttering, not the wind or the flag. Cleaning the cups thoroughly, so to my mind until it is pure and pristine and that would be the moment when I can see the true nature of the Buddha.
On the stage, Buddhist Businessmen’s Chan class students were dressed in yellow vests and wearing brainwave tester, teacup in left hand and tea scoop in right hand. They followed the Chan tea music and washed the cup, water in、light lifting and water out. Water tastes like manna, teacup like white jade, and the heart like the lotus flower; the warm spring smile bloomed in every Chan Tea artists face.
In three short days study, we were so relaxed and gained a lot, that’s why the performance on the stage was so full of confidence. The students said, thanks to the Ven. Master Renda’s scientific meditation class，and Chan tea brainwave tester which is a powerful high-tech study tool. It allows students to contact for the first time, can also get started quickly.
On the stage, there were twelve old Bodhisattvas with white hair, brought a special program "Fifteen years of following", deeply moved all the audiences. In 2002 years, dozens of Boshan believers prostrated on the ground, they pray for the Ven. Master Renda to stay here and led them to build the monastery and practiced Buddhism or Taoism. There were these old bodhisattvas among them. From then on, they followed the master, moving bricks, sifting sand, and mud to build the monastery; they brought food、vegetables、tofu, cook for the monastery every day. No matter what the weather is like, fifteen years they have never been stopped. On the way for 15 years following, no one felt tired, but full of joy and gratitude. 
Mid-autumn Festival is a family reunion day, but also a good time to pray for good luck. Early in the morning, the monastery was held the Assembly of lucky offer sacrifice to Heaven. At night, the actors sang by heart at the party, “Wish Mother Good Health”,“Mangala Sutta”. We pray that the mother, teachers and all motherly sentient beings, good luck, and good health.
The moon is shining in the sky, Zhengjue Monastery is cool at night. Hold the moonlight in a cup, taste the delicate fragrance of tea. Raise a cup of tea in the hand to invite deities from the moon, Let’s have rounds of toast with heavenly beings and deliberate on the secrets of Chan, would you?
